We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise run with Anna and Nina this morning. Anna, just eighteen, is used to running fast on a track and enjoyed a more leisurely (for her, fast for me!) long distance run with us this morning taking in the lovely sea views, whilst Nina showed that she has definitely acclimatised to the Mallorcan weather now and ran strong and steady the whole way. A lovely 15k run in great company. Well done, girls!
We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise run with Nina and Amy this morning. Both girls joined us for our Tombs and Dunes 9k run in preparation for the Dublin and Royal Parks half marathons. This route takes us along sandy paths and woodland track and offers lovely sea and countryside views. We stopped off at the necropolis and the farm along the way and finished with a dip in the sea. This really was a fabulous way to start the day. Well done, girls!
We enjoyed a beautiful run from Pollensa to Lluc with Nina from Ireland this morning. We last ran with Nina two years ago when she had recently had her little girl and two years on, she's had a little boy too and is still keeping up her training, so hats off to her. Nina is currently preparing for the Dublin Half Marathon in October so today's 17k uphill ramble will certainly help. It was overcast this morning and felt cool up in the mountains which made it a pleasant run. Watch out for storms later on! Well done, Nina! You're a star!
Thanks to Luís for testing out this stunning mountain road run with me today. Gently undulating with amazing sea and mountain views, this route included a spooky tunnel, smelly goats and an impressive lighthouse. Fabulous!
I had a fab morning with Abi today. We set off in the dark to do our Tombs and Dunes 9k route, a great little off-road run along sandy paths and woodland track. We saw the sun come up over the sea and stopped to see the farm animals en route. A scenic and feel-good run. Thanks, Abi, and good luck in the Bournemouth Half Marathon next month! Go, go, go!
The 'Jo pose' is catching on ... Thanks to Abi, Sal and Fran, who is training for the Chester Marathon (it's on October 2nd by the way, Fran! :) ) for joining us this morning for our Magic Moments 11k run, a lovely route along mountain road and woodland track to a beautiful cove where we stopped for a dip in crystal clear waters. A fun run in great company and we got to see goats, donkeys, sea urchins and a bare bottom. A fab morning! Well done, guys!
