We enjoyed a great workout with Kenny from Scotland today. We did our Seaside Woodland 9.5k route along sandy paths and woodland track finishing on the sparkling seafront where we enjoyed a cool drink and I soaked my feet! Well done, Kenny!
James and Kenny came out with us this morning on our Another Day in Paradise 13k route: a picturesque run along undulating country lanes, through mountain woodland and along beautiful coastline. These guys certainly deserve a big breakfast now. Well done!
Well done to our Mads (far right), too, who was there at the finish line of the London Marathon to help and guide all the marathon finishers. It was a long day for her and she didn't stop smiling and lending a hand. Star!
What a champ! This girl never stops! Well done to our Francesca who completed the London Marathon in 4h36m02s today raising lots of dosh for various charities. Good girl!
Well done to our Ruth who completed the London Marathon in 3h57m52s. A brilliant achievement! She is unavailable for comment at this moment due to essential post-race rehydration! Cheers, Ruth!
Congratulations to Donald (left) who ran with us a few weeks ago. He just smashed his PB marathon time in London finishing in 2h44m12s. Incredible! Enjoy your post-race beers, Donald, because you certainly deserve them!
We had a great Another Day in Paradise 13k run with Karen from Weston-super-Mare and James from Liverpool this morning. A beautiful route along undulating country lanes, through mountain woodland to a peak with stunning sea views and then a ramble down the other side and a jog along lovely coastline, through a sleepy seaside town to our destination. The conversation revolved around the following topics: beer, cake and wine. I think I want to become a 'hasher'! Well done, guys!
My cousin, Lucia (number 8), finished 3rd lady at the Fairoaks 5m race on Sunday. Proud? Just a bit.
Congratulations to Madeleine who ran with us last year and has become a good buddy! She had a great run and knocked a whopping 1 hour and 13 minutes off her PB time at the Brighton Marathon on Sunday with a finish time on her watch of 4h49m12s. A brilliant photo. Well done, Mads!
And whilst I was running in Brighton, many runners were pounding the streets around Pollensa. Congratulations to all those who took part in the Pollensa Half Marathon on Sunday, including our Miguel and George, and the fantastic Graham who ran with us last week. Well done!
