![]() Despite the wind and general murkiness, we got out there and ran our Full Monty 11.5k run with Mark this morning. He incorporated the route into a 24k run in preparation for the London Marathon in April. It has been a pleasure to meet this man. Determined, motivated, positive and an amazing runner, Mark is sure to achieve whatever he sets out to achieve. Go, Mark!

![]() We ran 14 miles with Mark from Kent this morning, along the seafront and rugged coastline and up to La Victoria, where we saw other runners taking part in a 20k mountain run. Mark then shot off to run a further 10 miles in preparation for the London Marathon in April, where his goal is to run a sub-3 hour race. An amazing man, though Mark has only been running a few years, I am convinced there has always been a runner within him. ![]() An exciting new route on the itinerary. The King's Castle 24k is a special run for which we need to acquire permits as the area is so protected that only twenty people are allowed in each day. The run is a natural wonder, and as well as the stunning natural surroundings, we get to see the rocky ruins of a castle built by the Moors which stands 492m high. The route takes us uphill through pine woods, across fields and then down to a beautiful little cove with crystal clear waters where we stop and refuel ready for our hilly return! Tough, but definitely worth it! |
